Sirina walked into the school with a small smile as she fixed her flower crown on her head. “new year!” she whispered under her breath

Cami walks in with her violin case looking down at the floor it was the first day of senior year.

Sirina regripped her backpack before walking to her home room teacher, Mrs. Green room 221

Cami walked in after Sirina and sat down near the front.

Sirina sat down in a desk near a girl she didn’t recognize. she was holding a case to an instrument. She glanced at the girl for a minute before she was snapped out of her daze by Mrs. Green handing out locker combinations

Cami looks at the girl near her but her focus changed to her new locker combo.

Sirina snuck a glance at the girl one more time before getting up and walking to her new locker ‘maybe her locker will be near mine, I’ll introduce myself then’ she thought to herself

Cami’s locker happened to be next to Sirina’s. “Cami put some stuff in her locker but kept her violin and her backpack.

Sirina smiled to herself when she saw the girl’s locker was next to hers. she placed some books into her locker but kept her backpack with her. She turned to the girl and smiled widely “hi, my names Sirina! what’s yours?”

“I’m Cami,” She smiles.

Sirina brushed piece of hair out of her face “what do you play?” she asked referring to the instrument case in Cami’s hand

“Ah, Im a violinist,” Cami smiles.

“that’s so cool!” Sirina said smiling brightly “what class do you have first period?” she inquired

“Orchestra,” Cami says.

“And you?”

“aww man, you’re lucky I have history” Sirina grinned “hey are you doing anything after school?”

“Kinda,” Cami responded, “Hey history is fun.”

“I guess” the piece of hair fell back in her face so she blew it “it’s just not really my forte if you get what I’m saying”

Cami nodded, “I understand.”

the bell rings and Sirina looks up “well I gotta go, but I’ll see you later?”

“Alright see you around Sirina.” Cami smiles and ran off to orchestra

Sirina pulled her backpack onto her shoulder and smiled “Cya” before running to history

Cami sat in orchestra the Teacher Mr.Adams, “Okay class today we will be hosting auditions for first chair for the year...I hope you guys got the sheet music for this or you’ll just join the rest.” Mr. Adams says Cami got her music from her bag and quickly tuned her violin.

Sirina sat down in the back of her history class and placed her backpack in the rack under the chair. she quickly looked over at the teacher, Mr. Cain as he began the lesson

Cami started playing the variation the hunting melody filled the room and escaped into the hallway.

Sirina stared intently at the board as Mr. Cain began speaking about what they would be learning this year. Sirina neatly wrote down each topic in her notebook

Sirina’s ears tuned into the music being played down the hallway and smiled

Cami finished her song, Mr.Adams applauded, “Thank you Cami, Who’s next?” The next girl played the variation.

Sirina tuned back into what the teacher was saying as the song ended. She began to hum along to the song playing in her head

The bell rang and Cami packed up and walked to her next class AP. English.

Sirina was forced to abruptly stop her humming as the bell rang. Sirina quickly put her notebook in her backpack, bid goodbye to Mr. Cain and ran to her next class

Cami sat down at a desk in Mrs.VanderBulit’s classroom and took out her textbook along with a notebook.

Sirina opened the door to AP English with a small smile, she quickly walked over to the same desk she sat in last year in the front left corner near the window and put all her needed supplies plus the book she was currently reading into her desk

Cami glances over at Sirina and waved.

Sirina saw someone waving out of the corner of her eye, she turned and smiled as she waved back at Cami

Cami changed her seat so she was next to Sirina, “Your in AP English too?”

Sirina closed her book and turned to Cami “yeah, English is my favorite subject! I love to read and write” she smiled excitedly

“Same, most of my friends don’t like too..Their all in English 1.” Cami sighed.

“My friends say reading is lame and yeah they’re probably right anyway they are the popular kids anyway.” Cami says.

“aww that stinks, but I don’t honk they’re right. without reading I don’t know who is be.” Sirina gave a sad smile lost in thought “I like fantasy too by the way, and realistic fiction”

Cami nods, “They probably are, I’m a major geek anyway.”

“well” Sirina’s smile finally reached her eyes “I’m a geek too, you’re not alone”

“That’s good, my friends will probably hate me if I talk to you in front of them, they’ve talked about before, I’ve always thought it was cool you wore a flower crown everyday,” Cami smiles.

Sirina smiled as she fixed her flower crown, her attention suddenly drawn to it “aww thank you, that means a lot! but who would your friends hate it if you talked to me?” Sirina asked looking confused

“Well because, They’re very protective over their followers and I’d practically die if they found out, But your cool anway.” Cami bite her lip.

“well thanks for hanging out with me, most people think I’m weird or mad (in the crazy way 😂) or something” Sirina giggled smiling brightly

“Nah, I’ve seen worse,” Cami smiles

Sirina giggled but the piece of hair once again falls into her face. she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath... before bursting into a fit of giggles

"Alrighty," Cami says the bell then rings her lunch period. Great. "Cami! Over here," Blair smiled. "Hey Cami," Laura cheeped. "Shut up Laura." Phoebe says sternly. "You called?" Cami asked, "We're planning to shame that dork with the flower crown." Blair smiled. "Uh- WHy- Yes we should." Cami sighed at sat next to Blair.

“Bye Cami” Sirina radiated a smile as the bell rang. She picked up her backpack and her book and headed out to the abandoned school courtyard before climbing her tree, hanging her backpack on a branch and beginning to read and eat jello at the same time (which resulted in a lot of jello on the floor 😂)

“Why don’t you invite her to some stupid party that doesn’t exist,” Laura suggested. “Finally a good idea,” Blair rolled her eyes. Cami simply stayed quiet

“No WAY” Sirina screeched “woah, woah” she breathed as she lost her balance and almost fell out of the tree. she turned to the book “look at what you almost made me do” she said then laughed at her situation

Cami glanced out the window to sees Sirina through the window, “OOF.”

Sirina shifted her weight into the sturdier part of the branch before reaching for her bag to grab more food. while going through her bag she looked up and saw Cami thorough the window and waved

Cami quickly looked away and then the bell rang she ran off to AP French.

The bell rang and it startled Sirina. She yelped as she fell out of the tree, her book, backpack, and flower crown all plummeting to the ground. “oh god” she mumbled as she collected herself and ran to Calculus

Cami sat down in her AP French class and went through the class introductions it was her last period of the day since Wednesday’s were always half days for Seniors. She stared at the clock the entire class.

Sirina was out of breath by the time she made it to her class due to the fact it was on the other side of the school from the courtyard. She hastily found a seat and began taking out her books, pencil case, and calculator. Though she ended up daydreaming for most of the class anyways

School finally ended and Cami walked outside to her car.

When the end bell rang Sirina had already packed her stuff and was running out the doors, holding onto her flower crown to keep it from falling off ‘just a little longer’ she thought to herself

Cami watched to see if anyone was following her and drove off.

Sirina ran over to the bike racks and walked up to hers, a white one with painted multicolor roses all over it, unlocked it and rode off towards home

Cami drove off into the woods, there she walked a bit until she reached a wooden cabin 12 other girls were waiting inside, "Welcome back Sister Cami." One says they were all wearing red cloaks, one hands a cloak to her, "Hello Sisters," Cami smiled weakly and put on the cloak.

Sirina slowed as she neared her house before jumping off and leaning her bike against a tree. she then began running through the woods behind her house to a clearing and a large lake...

Cami quickly braided her hair into a braided crown the same hairstyles the rest of the girls had. "Alright girls, what's on the agenda?"

Sirina swiftly took of her clothing revealing the bathing suit she wore underneath. she left her flower crown on as she ran into the water...

"We're going to the lake and looking for some prey," One girl says her name was Myra. "Well let's go then," Cami smiled, and repeted some latin words opening to the lake, "Oh and I only need half the coven with me." Cami says as she steps into the portal.

Sirina felt the cold water wash over her before feeling a burning in her legs. after a flash of light her legs were replaced with a tail and her flower crown was now a crown on seashells and starfish. She took a deep breath of water before talking off deep into the lake

Cami, Myra and four other witches followed her through the woods and around the lake, “Do you really think they have water nymphs here or something else worth harvesting?” A girl asked, “It’s worth a try,” Myra shrugged and used a around charm to change her clothes into a swimsuit so did the other girls they then placed an enchantment so they could breathe underwater. “I swear to god Myra if you aren’t right about this.” Cami muttered and dove in.

Sirina swam as fast as she could down to her secret hideaway in the lake. As she neared it she sang a spell in order to open the doorway to a cave lit by magic crystals of a multitude of colors. “Finally” Sirina sighed as she swam over to her shell bed and grabbed a copy of the book she was reading that she had made waterproof

The coven and Cami swum around looking for life, “There’s some light over there,” One girl pointed out. “Let’s go,” Cami says and swims off.

Sirina read her book for a while before closing it with a sigh “I should really get my homework done” she pulled out her backpack which now had decorations of shells all over it and pulled out her homework

Cami knocked on the entrance. “Anyone there?”

Sirina heard a knock at the entrance of her hideaway and panicked, she didn’t know if any merfolk living in this lake. as quietly as she could she began gathering her schoolwork together and hiding it before lowly singing a spell for the lights created by the crystals to slowly and nearly undetectably go out

“Should we break in?” Myra asked. “Open up.” Cami shakes her head and bangs on the door.

Sirina realised whoever they were, they weren’t going away. in as clear as a voice as she could muster without it shaking she called out “Who is it-t”

“It’s the Gemini Reds Coven,” Cami says.

Sirina listened to the response and couldn’t stop a confused look from flashing across her face, not only had she never heard of the group, but she recognized the girls voice, though she couldn’t place from where. again she called out “what business have you here?”

“We’re investigating this area.” Myra days.

Sirina’s heart started beating faster “sure thing” she sing songed before pulling a magical pearl of protection out of her crown and grabbing a small shell hilted dagger out and holding it behind her back

“Sirina? What are you doing here?” Cami asked.

“Cami? I could ask you the same question!” Sirina exclaimed, her figure visibly relaxing

“I’m apart of a coven looking for things,” Cami says blankly.

“what the heck are you looking for all the way down here!?” Sirina exclaimed suddenly feeling self conscious about her tail and hiding in behind a rock

“I mean you can find all sorts of stuff here,” Cami says.

Sirina opted to looking toward the people behind Cami “Who are your friends?” she inquired, her hand instinctively going up to fix her crown, no longer of flowers but of shells

“My..Coven or at least half of them.” Cami says.

“that’s interesting... these wouldn’t happen to be the friends you were talking about earlier would they?” Sirina breathed, air bubbles dancing from her mouth up to the surface

“Oh satan no, they’re actually good witches.” Cami says.

“phew” Sirina exhaled “well that’s a relief” she laughed, “I thought you were here to kill me” Sirina smiled but it quickly fell “aww bubbles, I guess my secrets out” her tale flicked back into view

“pFFFt kill you, that ridiculous.” Cami says awkwardly.

Sirina giggled not catching the awkwardness in Cami’s voice “so how can I help you guys, is there anything in particular you’re looking for?” Sirina smiled lazily as she played with the ends of her hair that floated around her head in a large blonde blob

Cami took a deep breathe and used a paralyzing charm on Sirina.

Sirina began to panic as all the muscles in her body tightened and she was unable to move

Cami released the tension to her vocal cords and jaw, “I’m sorry Sirina I really liked you.” Cami sighed.

Sirina, unable to speak, only radiated a aura of pain as she tried to focus on the protective pearl that was fighting the charm and slowly causing it to fade.

Cami exhaled and drew her dagger nearer to Sirina, “I was hoping it wouldn’t be this way.”

“Put prove to us your not them and we’ll spare you.” Cami says.

“Not who!” Sirina whined trying to calm her breathing “Cami why are you doing this, who do you think I am?” all of Sirina’s energy flowing toward the pearl caused her voice to shake.

“Now that’s not important, Are you a nymph?” Cami asked pulling the dagger near Sirina.

“nymph? what are you talking about? Cami I’m serious put the dagger down!” Sirina cried out

“Alright,” Cami put the dagger down. “We’re hunting nymphs. So are you one?”

“for one, you’re not very good at this. You’ve just told me that you’re HUNTING nymphs, therefore if I were one I would know to lie in order to avoid capture. two, I am not, I am of mer heritage. I am infact a Siren, thus the quite unoriginal name my parents gave me.” Sirina explained

Cami rolls her eyes, “I’m an a very good hunter in fact I’ve stay alive for 500 years because of it,” Cami bragged.

Sirina sighed “so it seems we didn’t know as much about each other as we thought” Sirina closed her eyes “pity” when her eyes opened they had changed from an ocean blue to a blood red and as she smirked two enlonged canines were clearly visible in the grin

“Are you some vampire? Oh those are really full of power, pleaasse.” Myra begged. “No she’s no Nymph it’s not worth it let’s go back to the cabin.”

Before Cami could react, Sirina had dropped the act of being unable to move and fast as lightning had pulled her own dagger that she had been hiding out towards the witch who had spoken “I suggest you listen to your ‘leader’” Sirina cooed “while a siren who was birthed from a vampire father and mer mother is powerful I’m not sure you want to mess with me” She purred

“I suggest you don’t mess with a coven,” Cami says Myra thinking on her feet teleports Cami and the rest of the coven away into the cabin.

Sirina watched silently as the group disappeared. She once again closed her eyes and when she opened them again they had returned to their original ocean color. “school will be interesting tomorrow” Sirina mumbled to herself as she turned around and walked back into her cave

Cami went to sleep inside the cabin in her own room she woke up said goodbye to the coven and drove off to school.

Sirina awoke laying on her bed. but not the one she was meant to awaken in, not the one in dry land, she had fallen asleep reading in her cave. with a sigh and an eye roll Sirina got her stuff together, Sean to the surface, returned to human form, and headed to school

Cami unpacked her back and walked off into homeroom.

Sirina arrived at school out of breath, and was still in said condition when she opened the door to her homeroom and her eyes met Camis from across the room.

Cami started at Sirina and motioned her to sit next to her.

“Yeah..This morning we found her corpse her throat had been slit.” Cami explained.

“oh god” Sirina breathed “who do you think would’ve done such a horrible thing?”

“A lot of people,” Cami sighed. “We’re not liked by other covens.”

“Don’t. They’re too powerful, please. They’ll kill you too,” Cami mumbled.

“bye” Sirina mumbled before walking towards history. when she got there she pulled out her book instead of her notebook and began to read, waiting for the music to begin from down the hall as it did the day before

Sirina smiled slightly in the midst of writing her notes as music once again began to play down the hallway

Cami played with grace but then the glass shattered.

Sirina was snapped out of her trance when the teacher called on her to answer the question on the board. She swiftly composed herself and answered the question but when the teacher continued teaching the music from the hallway was nowhere to be heard

Cami gasped and dropped her violin. Witch hunters with their crossbows were coming into the room Cami runs with a couple others out the room and into the halls.

Sirina heard a stampede of footsteps running in the hallway. She could tell that it wasn’t for a good reason so she grabbed the hall pass and went to check it out

Cami ran into the history room and locked the door and pushed a bunch of desks up to the door. “What on earth are you doing Ms.Rakin!” The History teacher shouts. “Well there’s a..School Shooter targeting some people..And I’m one of them.” Cami says and then runs into the closet.

Sirina was startled when Cami came rushing through the door she was about to leave through and watched helplessly as Cami pushed desks up against the door and ran to the closet. Sirina decided to follow her to the closet “Cami what’s going on?” she whispered through the door”

“I’m trying not to die,” Cami muttered and moves through the closet to a corner.

“here” Sirina gently took her protective pearl out of her pocket and quietly opened the door to the closet “put it on you, anywhere, that way nothing can hurt you, magic or non magic” Sirina shrugged “you need it more than I do right now”

“No...You need it more then I do I can protect myself.” Cami says and sit in the corner.

“Cami. You’re the one they’re looking for right now, not me. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you and I had the chance to stop it. Please just take the pearl, you can give it back to me later.” Sirina insisted with a forceful tint to her voice “please” she plead

“I don’t matter you do, they’re after anyone who has supernatural abilities Keep it.” Cami turned a away.

Sirina sighed in defeat, putting the pearl back in her pocket “please, try to stay safe. you know where to find me if you need a safe place.” Sirina let out a ragged breath before returning to her seat. it took her a few seconds to realize everyone was staring at her “what?” she asked puzzled

everyone turned away quickly and Sirina shrugged (hit send too early 😂🤷🏼‍♀️)

“Thank you.” Cami sighed she then grabbed a crossbow from her bag and loaded it. The witch hunters killed a couple kids and screams were heard around the halls.

Sirina felt a shudder go up her spine as she heard the screams from the hallway “oh god, this is actually happening” she mumbled pushing her flower crown out of her eyes

The screaming continued through the hallways Cami stayed where she was determined not to die but then the glass shattered in the next door classroom...

Sirina flinched as the glass next door broke and looked around the classroom to find everyone panicking. she then turned to the teacher who was panicking himself. Sirina got up and walked over to his desk “this school is being attacked. people are dying. what are you doing about it? nothing! isn’t there some kind of procedure you’re supposed to go through!” The teacher only looked at her with a panicked expression. Sirina sighed “whoever wants to live follow me” She announced as quietly as she could. she led a group of students to the window and began rushing them through it in hopes the attackers wouldn’t come too quickly.

Cami stayed in the closet quietly sobbing this wasn’t how she planned for this day to go it was supposed to be a good day her first day in first chair yet her school was under attack because of her stupid kind she stayed in the closet and on the door used a sealing charm to lock it from anyone from opening it.

Sirina let out a relieved breath as the last student left the classroom. ‘Cami, please be careful.’ Sirina used a spell so the message would be transported right into Cami’s mind before climbing out the window herself so she can lead the students to safety.

“I can’t make any promises.” Cami muttered back and crouched behind a bag inside the closet.

Sirina exhaled sharply as she hit the ground. “is everyone okay?” She asked, quickly making a move to talk control of the situation “no? ok, everyone follow me” she stated before walking to the head of the group of terrified kids and leading them away from the school

Cami took a deep breathe see was terrified to be honest and slouched in the corner sining ‘This World will Remember us’ from Bonnie and Clyde to calm herself down.

Sirina silently began casting spells of protection around the history room. She made sure that nobody was being left behind as she led the students towards the town where they could hopefully contact the police or some form of authority to try and deal with the witch hunters, even if they would do minimal damage against their magic.

Cami heard the closet open and choked her silent sob. The figure got closer and closer until it was a coat infront of her. “Cami? Where are you?” The voice asked concerned. Cami pops out of the closet, “Lyra, thank god your okay,” She was practically crying.

Sirina was physically tired by the time they reached town, but her mind was reeling. ‘how did they find the school’ she internally questioned ‘am I in danger at all?’ ‘is Cami going to be okay?’ she sighed as they reached the town police station and she turned to her peers “all of you stay out here and be alert, I’m going in to report what happened. if anything happens yell and I’ll be right out”

Cami hugs Lyra, “I-I think they’re on top us.” Cami mumbled. “Did you still that Siren girl why they’re after us?” Lyra asked. “Oh no, of course not it seems a bit alarming...It’s not best for her to know.” Cami pulls back to look Lyra in the eye.

Sirina walked into the police station on high alert. Her mind was still reeling as she walked up to the counter “I’d like to report an ongoing school attack. I’m not sure if it was a shooting”

“Okay, Let’s get out of here.” Lyra says and hops out the window and Cami tries too but a witch hunter shoots her in the leg she quickly rolls out the window and sprints away.

“what school is it?” the person behind the desk asked already reaching for his radio, most likely to request backup “Silverhaven Highschool” Sirina said, trying to stop her voice from shaking “I have a group of students with me outside that i was able to get out”

Cami shrieked and ran as fast as she could with the arrow going straight through her leg.

“thank you for letting us know, we’ll get a team out there right away” the person behind the desk said before saying information into the radio “you have done a very honorable thing leading your classmates here, please return to them, we’ll take it from here” Sirina gave a faint smile before bobbing her head and heading back outside

Cami rolled into the woods she didn’t have her wand or her spell book she had trouble remembering a lot of attack spells she crouched in the woods behind a tree and left the arrow through her leg it was the only thing preventing her from bleeding out.

“Give it up Cami!” The witch hunter yells. “Your dead game already.” The hunter yelled. Cami took a quick breathe and closed her eyes her leg was throbbing and she was stuck. Cami then muttered a spell turning her invisible and slowly crawled out to the classmates retaining her invisible form.

Sirina felt a ripple of raw magic in the area as she returned to her classmates, though she couldn’t detect where it was coming from. she gave them a relaxed smile “everything is being taken care of everyone, relax” she announced

Cami let go of the spell and collapsed on the pavement a pool of blood turned the black cement into red.

Sirina flinched as a small group of students screamed. She ran over as fast as she could to se Cami laying in a pool of her own blood “oh god” she mumbled under her breath before starting to pull her up off the ground “stay with me Cami”

Cami choked, “I’ve been impaled.” Cami muttered and gestures to her leg with the arrow. “Don’t take the arrow out yet...It’s keeping the internal bleeding in.” Cami muttered.

“I’m sure it’s poisoned though...Get me to a hospital.”

Sirina nodded “I’ll have someone run and get an ambulance” she fixed her grip on Cami’s arms “SOMEBODY GO INSIDE AND GET THEM TO CALL AN AMBULANCE” she screamed to nobody in particular. “It’s gonna be okay, you’re gonna be fine” She cooed

“I-I hope so,” Cami bit her lip and grabbed some supplies from a first aid kit nearby and started tending her wound.

Sirina tried to calm her heart rate as she helped Cami with her injury while hey were waiting for the ambulance “the ambulance should be here any second” she said quieter than she wanted to

Cami quivered, “It’s fine..” She squeezed her eyes shut, “It’d bee a shame to die now...I got into Yale yesterday.” Cami muttered

“No way!” Sirina cheered “well then I’m definitely not letting anything happen to you! him you got a whole life ahead of you, don’t you worry” she sighed as the loud sirens and blue and red lights of the ambulance filled the air “let’s get you out of here” she mumbled before helping her into the ambulance

Cami was then sent to the hospital in the ambulance, “Cami, you have to go through surgery, the arrow damaged the muscle in your leg and it’s internally bleeding.” The doctor explains Cami nodded and exhaled.

Sirina sat by Cami on the side of the ambulance on a bench against the wall. she unconsciously held Cami’s hand in need of comfort (for some reason) and listened to what the doctor had to say

Cami went through surgery blah blah blah. Cami then was discharged from the hospital and she got back to school. School let out for the next month to repair the damage, even after the month Cami refuses to return to the school until after news year, she’d been doing her assignments at school and used a medical excuse to explain her bad attendance. Cami then returned to school she’d changed the brighter colors have turned darker and she wasn’t holding her violin case anymore.

Months had past and today was the first day Cami was back in school. While Sirina has on her usual attire of a float shirt and a flower crown, Cami had exchanged her colorful clothing for grays and blacks. Sirina couldn’t help but notice the difference. She had been visiting Cami over the months at least once a week. She walked up to Cami trying not to bring much attention to them “welcome back Cami” she mumbled so only her friend could hear.

“Hey,” Cami said plainly see was braiding her hair and leaning against her locker, “What’s your first class?” Cami asked.

“geometry” Sirina sighed “why do I always have the hard subjects first” she chuckled “you? I can help but notice that you don’t have your violin with you” she asked casting a glance to Cami’s hands currently hard at work braiding. she began to fiddle with her flower crown

“I past it...I-I don’t think it’s best.” Cami says, “I have Calculus first.”

“I get it, sometimes it’s good to try something new too” a smile played on Sirina’s lips. The bell rang and Sirina looked up “good luck in calculus” she smiled, finally pulling a flower out of the crown and placing it in Cami’s hair before walking off

Cami smiles weakly and took the flower out of her hair and placed it next her locker, “I hate pink,” She muttered and walked off to Calculus. Nothing happened during Calculus really Cami did everything required and then the bell rang. A few periods later it was lunch, Cami wasn’t sitting at her normal table, none of her school friends were actually there so Cami sat with the remaining 5 girls in her coven, all wearing similar dark colors as Cami.

Sirina didn’t pay attention in any of her classes, she was too busy worrying about Cami. when lunch came though she was glad to see Cami sitting with the other members of her coven. she frowned slightly when she noticed the flower was no longer in her hair but she brushed it off as she headed towards the courtyard per usual.

Cami looked serious and somewhat more grown she was discussing moving to Europe so the witch hunters weren’t going to find them, she felt an empty spot where the 8 others of the coven were all in the ground..gone forever.. “We need to find another nymph,” one suggested, “I know, we’re all dying we’ll find one tonight.” Cami sighed.

Sirina opted to sketching instead of reading today, so she didn’t end up eating any lunch. The vampire part of her genetics allowed her to survive off the vitamins and minerals in her own blood, as her Mer genetics allowed her to survive off the water in her body. She smiled slightly as she realized she was sketching the necklace she was currently wearing, the one her mother gave her. she gave a sad smile “mum” she mumbled before continuing to sketch.

Sirina huffed a sigh when the bell rang and jumped out of the tree, pulling her sketchbook and backpack with her. she then fixed her flower crown from the fall and walked to her next class, Creative Writing with Mrs. May, bother her favorite class and teacher.

Cami was also is Creative writing she sat in the back of the class with her books and laptop.

Sirina walked into Creative writing and smiled brightly when she saw Cami was also in the class. Sirina sat down in a seat next to her.

Cami was chewing gum and had her feet on the desk, “Hey.”

Sirina glances over at Cami with a small grin before putting her books on her own desk. “hey”

Cami spend the class texting someone and when the bell rung she walked off to her car, she was done for the day since it was a half day, she then dragged a Freshman into her car and strapped her into the backseat. “It’s alright, I’m helping you.”

Cami brings the girl to the cabin in the woods and does this ritual to take the abilities out of her, they then consume it and full color comes back to Cami, “Alrighty then, You can go sweetie.” Cami gestures to the door and the girl walks off as if nothing happened

Sirina was unsettled as she watched Cami pull a freshman into her car and drive off. but shook it off and rode off towards her cave.

Cami was in a good mood everyone was the blacks,greys,and dark magenta where seemed to be washed away and Cami’s clothes,makeup,hair turned more vibrant into colors of white and yellows and browns.

Sirina sighed as she stripped at the edge of the lake to her bathing suit and ran towards the water. instead of walking it she opted to jumping in which changed her legs to her tail more easily. As she began swimming off she hissed in pain as she felt a burning sensation in her forearm and winced when she saw a fishing hook was pulling the skin off and a thick cloud of blood was finding its way into the after around her

Cami’s group or what was left of her coven walk down to the lake to go swimming for fun.

Sirina widened her eyes at the amount of blood loss in such few seconds and immediately began to attempt to pull the fishing hook out of her arm

Sirina tried to calm her heart rate so her hands would stop shaking. She carefully stopped her tail from swaying and began to cautiously move to grip the fishing hook that was still in her arm

Cami freaked out and grabbed her bow and arrow and shoots the people trying to get Sirina in the heart

Sirina grinds her teeth from the pain as she grabs hold of the hook and begins to pull it out

Cami pants and dives into the water to help Sirina

Sirina slowly twists the hook out of her arm and winces as the already toxic cloud of blood around her gets thicker. unable to breathe she begins to cough violently but can’t move due to blood loss

Cami brings her to the surface. “SIRINA, WAKE UP.”

Sirina flinched as she hears Cami’s blurred voice in her ear. suddenly her eyes shoot open and she begins to violent cough up blood and water

Cami backs up. “Sirina?”

Sirina heaved a breath, her lungs filling with a huge gulp of air “C-Cami?” She squinted up before coughing up bloody water once more

“I’m here.” Cami held her hand. “Do you need medical attention?”

“Yeah” Sirina gasped, pulling in as much air as she could “fishing hook got caught on my arm but when I pulled it out something bashed into my gills. she moved her hand from her right side to reveal a dark red gash seeping our blood

Cami does a healing spell to help save Sirina.

Sirina gasped as she felt the skin on her are and side begin so rapidly heal. she let out a shaky breath “thank you”
