No, I used to live in a bigger town (city, whatevr u call it) and I guess when I was in preschool, my parents saw i guess one of their friends and the daughter did Irish dancing, so then they looked on websites and signed me up!

Then 2 years ago we moved an hour away and decided to switch me to a more advanced class, and I got more involved. We figured out the class I had been going to for all those years was a baby class and for all the years I had been doing this, I didn't even know what a feis was😑
So, it's not exactly POPULAR to do Irish dance in Illinois but like there are Irish dance studios located all over America, it's just a unique kinda thing. And I'm Asian so it makes it a little weird to people that I do Irish dance, but I work hard on it and I really want to get better 👍
